Resilience programs are only as strong as the people leading them. Yet across business continuity, disaster recovery, and crisis management, organizations and professionals often face mismatched expectations when it comes to hiring, retention, and career growth. Drawing on more than 20 years of proprietary staffing and compensation benchmarking data, this session explores how to bridge that gap.
Attendees will gain dual perspectives, whether they are employers seeking to attract and retain top talent or professionals looking to advance their careers. The discussion will highlight current compensation trends, emerging skills in demand, and common myths that hinder both sides of the hiring equation.
Through real-world examples and data-driven insights, participants will leave with practical strategies to:
• Improve talent acquisition and retention in resilience functions.
• Navigate career growth opportunities and advocate for fair compensation.
• Use benchmarking data to align employer expectations with professional aspirations.
• Elevate program visibility and maturity through stronger people strategies.
This session offers actionable takeaways for leaders, hiring managers, and resilience professionals alike, ensuring that the future of resilience is built on both strong programs and strong people.
