Merging ICS and BCP for Optimum Response
Date: Wednesday, January 25, 2017
Time: 12:00 Noon Eastern
Presenters: Tracy Cowan, CBCP, CRP
We hear plenty of opinions and approaches on the concept of business continuity (BC) responses. Firefighters and risk managers might have some differences in perceptions, titles, frameworks, abbreviations and languages, but their ultimate goal is the same: recovery and resumption of operations. Finding a way to integrate the various methodologies can improve program efficiency and avoid recreating the wheel.
In this webinar, listen to how one company combined the experience of ICS — traditionally used in the emergency services realm — with the language of BC. By combining ICS and BC, the organization was able to create a response plan that could handle both field incidents affecting a specific project or operation and a large facility event affecting multiple business processes.
