President - Becky Cohen
Becky Cohen, Business Continuity Officer at BankAtlantic one of the largest and oldest financial institutions based in Florida. Through its branch network and Internet Banking division, BankAtlantic provides a full range of commercial and individual banking products and services. BankAtlantic has pioneered and developed a very unique ATM market niche in the cruise line industry with Carnival Cruise Lines and Royal Caribbean/Celebrity Cruises, as well as gaming casinos located on Native American reservations - this keeps her busy. A certified CBCP, re-elected treasurer for our local chapter and a founding member on the Broward Emergency Planning Network. A/K/A - the Disaster Diva!
Vice President - Laura Mosley (Mallet)
Laura Mosley is a Senior Manager of Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery at ADT and is responsible for the strategic implementation, integration and execution of ADT North America’s business continuity and disaster recovery programs as well as worldwide BCP coordination. Laura has extensive experience in business continuity planning. Most recently she led Citrix’s global business continuity planning and disaster recovery efforts. She also holds several notable certifications in the continuity planning field and recently passed the Master Business Continuity Professional (MBCP) exam. In addition to her work experience, Laura is a leader in the business continuity community. She is a member of International Association of Emergency Managers (IAEM) and Women in Technology International (WITI). Laura is also on the Editorial Board of the Journal of Business Continuity & Emergency Planning. On a national level, she recently served as Corporate Director of Public Relations for the Association of Contingency Planners (ACP) and has served in various leadership positions for the ACP SE Florida chapter; including Vice President, President, Program Director and Director of Public relations. Laura was a panel member for the Federal Reserve’s 2008 Business Continuity Summit. In 2007, she was a featured speaker at the Disaster Recovery Journal Conference on the topic of Developing a Solution-Based Global Business Continuity Program.
Treasurer - Nick Gentile
Nick Gentile is responsible for Business Operations and Business Continuity at Focus Technologies LLC in Sunrise, Fl. Prior to Focus Technologies, his 20+ years of experience designing and supporting communications networks for both domestic and multi-national companies, particularly financial institutions, were with BellSouth, RCA Global Communications, MCI International and Intermedia Communications Inc. Nick is a Florida native, a graduate of the University of Miami, and currently serving a two-year term as the Treasurer for the SE Florida Association of Contingency Planners.
