Virtualization for Disaster Recovery.
In the beginning, for Intel and
other PC-type server designs, the basic rule was one application
running on one server. As hardware improved and software
matured, the norm changed to one application running on many
servers. As hardware has continued to improve and software is
being componentized, a new norm is to have many services and
applications running either on a single server or a fleet of
servers. The key to allowing multiple applications optimized
for a variety of specific OS versions to coexist on the same
physical server is virtualization of the server. Join us for
lunch on Tuesday, October 21st to learn about
leveraging virtualization for disaster recovery.

Business Resiliency has been around for years, but with recent

businesses of any size need to proactively develop plans to
protect their associates and their business. We know the
statistics: up to sixty percent of small companies can collapse
within a year after experiencing a major denial of their
systems, their associates, or their facilities.
