ACP Presidents Council Officers for 2010

The intent of the President’s Council Meeting (PCM) is provide a structured framework for the presidents to network and support each other in their respective chapter endeavors. It allows the senior presidents to provide feedback to the newer presidents for all chapter related matters. The PCM also provides the forum to exchange information with the Corporate Board and the various sub-committees charged with executing initiatives on behalf of the membership.

Andrew Smith, CBCP, MBCI, MBA is a senior level Manager with 18 years diversified management experience specializing in Information Technology, IT Security, Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery Planning. He is the Vice President of Disaster Recovery Planning for the Americas for the Bank of Tokyo-Mitsubishi UFJ, Ltd., and prior to that; he spent over 8 years as Vice President and Head of Technology Services and Disaster Recovery Planning for DEXIA, NY (European Banking Group).

Andrew is a Certified Business Continuity Professional (CBCP), a Member of the Business Continuity Institute (MBCI), holds an MBA in International Finance from St. John's University and an Executive Certificate in Management & Leadership from MIT Sloan School of Management. He is the founding Membership Director of the ACP NYC Metro Chapter, served 3 years as Secretary on the Executive Board and is currently serving as President of the chapter.

Dawn W. Johnson, CBCP is currently a Specialist of Business Continuity for Georgia System Operations Corporation (GSOC) in Tucker, GA, where she is responsible for the Practices of Business Continuity, the Document Management System, the Corporate Goals process and special projects for the CEO. Dawn is a Certified Business Continuity Professional through the Disaster Recovery Institute since 2008.

Dawn has been a member of ACP since 2007 and serves as the Atlanta Chapter Program Director. Dawn is also a member of the Gwinnett County Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) and a member of the Southeast Association of Facilitators (SEAF).
